Building Our Youth,LLC mission is to help develop and support the mindset of our mentee that foster self-awareness, self-management, and social awareness to build
relationship skills that will ultimately uplift the community in which they live.
At the core of Building Our Youth, LLC, the goal is to build the Social-Emotional aspect of the client/mentee by providing them with an adult mentor who has a passion for building positive relationships.
Additionally, behavioral interventions such as Executive Skills, SCORE (SIM), THINK (SIM) and Possible Selves (SIM) will be implemented by the mentor through Skill streaming and authentic real world experiences.
Referral
Parents/guardians, social workers, juvenile justice officials, private practitioners, child guidance clinics, psychiatric facilities, education personnel, and members of the clergy may submit referrals.
